Washington Commanders star Christian Holmes fell to the ground in terrifying scenes during their match against San Francisco on Sunday.
Holmes, a cornerback, desperately tried to stop Deebo Samuel as the 49ers star sprinted toward the end zone.
There appeared to be some helmet-to-helmet contact between them before Holmes managed to force Samuel out of bounds.
But when another 49ers player tried to hold him up after the play, Holmes fell to the ground.
It immediately prompted medics to rush onto the field to treat him for a few minutes at FedEx Field.

The Commander's medics rushed the field and head coach Ron Rivera stood over them
Commander head coach Ron Rivera even came onto the field and stood over the medical staff as they worked.
Holmes eventually managed to walk off the field before being carted off to the locker room.
The 26-year-old was immediately ruled out for the remainder of the match due to concussion.
Brock Purdy rebounded from the worst game of his NFL career to throw two touchdown passes as the 49ers clinched the top seed in the NFC by defeating the Commanders 27-10.
Philadelphia's stunning home loss to Arizona, combined with Detroit's loss to Dallas on Saturday, allowed the 49ers to earn a first-round bye and home field advantage before Week 18.
Washington wasn't much of an obstacle for the Niners, whose only concern coming out of the win might be the status of Christian McCaffrey.
Their all-rounder left the game in the third quarter with a right calf injury after gaining 91 scrimmage yards on 18 touches, but he and the starters will now get plenty of time off to rest.

Sam Howell extended his NFL lead in interceptions, now 19, after replacing Jacoby Brissett
That was one of several offensive contributions for San Francisco, which got touchdown catches from Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk and a rushing touchdown from Elijah Mitchell.
Purdy, who threw four interceptions in a humiliating home loss to Baltimore, was 22 of 28 for 230 yards to reach 4,280 and break Jeff Garcia's 2000 single-season franchise record of 4,278.
The defense, also looking to atone for some struggles against the Ravens, intercepted Sam Howell twice – once each by Charvarius Ward and Deommodore Lenoir.
Howell extended his NFL lead in interceptions, now 19, after starting only because journeyman Jacoby Brissett was sidelined with a hamstring injury. Coach Ron Rivera benched Howell earlier this week after pulling him from the previous two games.
The Commanders have lost seven in a row, and as a result of the Cardinals win, they could be in line to finish second.
