Brutal turbulence caused a carnage on a recent flight from Angola to Portugal, injuring 10 people as passengers were assaulted and loose items crashed into the cabin.
Shocking images captured in the aftermath of the turbulence show how Meals, trays and plastic cutlery were in the aisles of the flight from Luanda to Lisbon on March 23.
Food and drink stains can be seen all over the cabin, including on the cracked and perforated ceiling panels.
The third footage even shows a plastic bin wedged into the opening above the bins.
Media in Portugal reported that at least 10 people, including two crew members, were injured during TAAG Angola Airlines’ Hi Fly flight, eight of whom required medical attention.

TAAG said “unfavorable atmospheric conditions” caused the turbulence, which reportedly hit as the plane flew over the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Eight passengers required medical attention and a doctor on board assisted one of the injured.
TAAG said in a statement that an ambulance and medical team were sent to Lisbon airport, where the flight landed at 8:37 p.m., seven hours and 18 minutes after takeoff.

Diana said the turbulence hit two hours after takeoff, just as lunch was being served.
She said of the ordeal: “It only lasted a few seconds, but it was enough to injure some people and the crew provided first aid before landing.
One of the injured, according to the influencer, was a newborn baby who flew out of his parents’ arms and crashed into the ceiling, prompting the captain to ask a doctor to help the child.
Portuguese media reported that many passengers showed symptoms of anxiety on examination.
Heavy rainfall in the Angolan capital caused a flight to Lisbon scheduled later in the day to be postponed due to the slippery runway.
The European Union banned TAAG aircraft from entering European airspace in July 2007 due to safety concerns.
The ban was fully lifted in April 2019, after several partial relaxations over the years.
The TAAG airline declined to comment when approached by local media.
