Terrifying moment fitness icon, 36, is executed on his doorstep… months after his wife’s bizarre death
This is the terrifying moment a fitness trainer is brutally executed outside his home, just months after the bizarre death of his wife.
Dramatic footage showed 36-year-old Giovanny Carvalho running from the suspect, a 35-year-old off-duty police officer, standing outside his home in Petrolina, Brazil.
Carvalho fell to the ground and could be seen kicking at the gunman as he desperately fought for his life.
He then tried to take the gun from the gunman before appearing to shoot him multiple times across the body and in the back of the head.

The gunman then stood over Carvalho, who was lying face down, and shot him six times in the back of the head.
The officer, a member of the Pernambuco military police, was arrested Tuesday morning in an apartment near where the shooting took place.
Witnesses told CNN Brasil that Carvalho had been in a relationship with the police officer’s wife and that the affair may have led to the shooting.
“The suspect is a military police officer and since it is a common and non-military crime, the investigation into the case will be conducted by the civilian police,” Pernambuco’s civilian police said in a statement.

According to a report from CNN Brasil, witnesses said Giovanny Carvalho had been in a relationship with the wife of a member of the Pernambuco military police.
Pernambuco Military Police will also conduct an administrative investigation into the accused officer.
Carvalho’s execution comes eight months after his wife, Aila Pimenta, 32, died.
Pimenta, who also worked as a personal fitness trainer, was electrocuted while removing clothes from a clothesline attached next to an air conditioner in the family home.
Carvalho and one of the couple’s three children, a six-year-old daughter, were shaken and treated at a hospital.
The couple were also parents to a one-year-old boy and a two-year-old girl.
