Terrifying moment ESPN studio violently shakes after being hit by earthquake in LA… but host Malika Andrews handles it like a pro

ESPN’s Los Angeles studio was hit by a 4.7 magnitude earthquake on Monday, with viral footage showing anchor Malika Andrew fully prepared for the moment on social media.

Andrews was interviewing Rebecca Lobo on the network’s NBA Today program when the quake struck about two miles southwest of Pasadena.

“Damn, she was so calm and smooth, I could have screamed Chris Tucker style,” one viewer commented on X.

The LAPD has asked residents of the metropolitan area and surrounding areas to remain indoors.

According to the LA Times, many Los Angeles residents received an alert about the earthquake on their phones.

Monday’s quake follows a 5.2 magnitude earthquake that struck Los Angeles last week, the strongest the state has seen this year.

The earthquake was felt at Dodger Stadium midway through the seventh inning of an MLB game between LA and the Philadelphia Phillies, although not all fans in the stands appeared to feel the quake.
