Teresa Giudice stays true to her Italian and New Jersey roots: family is sacred and should not be crossed.
During an appearance on Kelly Ripa’s Sirius XM podcast Let’s talk off camerathe 52-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey star embraced the philosophy laid out in The Godfather.
Kelly said, “You and Melissa, will we never see you on camera together again?”
“Yes. Never again. Never again. First of all, family is so sacred to me. I’m like, you’re Italian Kelly,” Teresa — who always photoshops her bikini pics badly — said passionately.
“I’m all for The Godfather movie. You never go against the family. I live by it. I stand by it. I’m a loyal person.”

Kelly agreed, saying that you can forgive someone and move on, but somewhere in the back of your mind you always know that person could betray you again.
“Yeah, exactly. I mean, I forgave them because, again, my parents were around and I didn’t want to hurt them. My parents were like that, after the baptism, the first scene, my dad-,” Teresa said, a lump forming in her throat.
She continued, “My parents were so upset. They were like, ‘What?’ My brother and I were best friends. We always got along. We never had a fight. We were really best friends until this happened. Until the show.”
The Live with Kelly and Mark host asked if RHONJ was the cause of Teresa’s feud with her brother and sister-in-law.
‘Well, I was a little jealous because I was on the show and she wasn’t, and I thought, “This is my thing.”
“You know, it would have been so wonderful if we had stood together and shown America and the world that instead of fighting, this is just outrageous.
“I tell my daughters, I beg my daughters. I say something like, ‘Please always get along. That’s all I ask, I want the four of you to always love each other and if one has more than the other, you know, enjoy that.'”
Teresa added: ‘You should all be happy for each other and cheer each other up, you know?
Meanwhile, big changes may be on the way for the cast of Real Housewives of New Jersey.
During a segment on his Andy Cohen Live radio show for SiriusXM, Cohen hinted that the cast might be completely replaced with “new faces.” He did so while chatting with a caller who was upset about the current cast and the direction of the show.
The woman, who complained that RHONJ is “so boring now” and said she wanted longtime star Melissa and newcomer Margaret Josephs to be let go in favor of Teresa, was initially not reassured after Andy said there would be “big new changes to the show.”
After the caller continued to complain about the current season, Andy interrupted him: “We’re restarting the show.”

“We’re going to reboot it,” Cohen continued. “We’re going to do something different.”
The caller continued to tout Teresa’s presence on the show, before Andy appeared to wrap up his tirade.
“Okay, okay. Okay, we’ll see what we do. We’ll see,” the seemingly exasperated Watch What Happens Live host said as he ended the call.
“I don’t know. Maybe just all fresh faces. We’ll see,” he added.
