Tensions “raised when the Duchess of Sussex was behind the Princess of Wales in the queue for best designer.”

Meghan and Kate’s relationship was doomed from the start, as hard feelings were clear from the start that the then-Duchess of Cambridge’s wardrobe took precedence over the Duchess of Sussex’s, it was reported today.

During her American acting career, Meghan Markle fell in love with British designer Erdem Moralıoğlu’s clothes, wearing his dresses to various engagements before entering royal life starting in 2016.

But by becoming publicly involved with Prince Harry, the Princess of Wales is said to have been given priority over Meghan, as she too was an existing client.

The new details of the couple’s relationship, published in The Telegraph – the same newspaper that published an exclusive interview with Prince Harry last night – comes after Prince Harry published his controversial Spare memoir last Tuesday.

Meghan wore Erdem’s ‘Davina’ dress from her 2015 collection in early 2016, before it was available to the general public, for an appearance on NBC’s Today show, even before she met the Duke of Sussex.

She was also seen wearing Erdem dresses in March 2017 during a wedding in Jamaica, and around the time of the 2017 Invictus Games in Toronto, when she wore her ‘Sebla’ dress.

But as a royal, Meghan didn’t publicly wear her favorite designer until March 2019, reports The Telegraph.

The fact that the looks from the British designer, who was born in Canada, were delivered to Kate first is said to have gone down well with the Sussexes, with Meghan reportedly saying that Kate “wasn’t even the queen”.

The dress saga comes after an alleged earlier spat between the couple over bridesmaid dresses for Harry and Meghan’s wedding, and a seemingly awkward first meeting with the Cambridges.

Prince Harry claimed in Spare that one of the couple’s assistants was asked to resign over allegations that they were “negotiating” their position for gifts.

Both Kate and Meghan were said to have left the meeting in tears after it was discovered that none of the dresses fit them.

In a separate row, it emerged in Prince Harry’s Spare book that Meghan kept gifts she was given while a member of the royal family, allegedly sharing them with her staff at Kensington Palace.

Standard practice within the Royal Family is to return unsolicited gifts that have been sent to the palace free of charge.

However, in his book, Harry admits that Meghan received gifts, but also distributed them to her staff.

The prince wrote: Harry says: “She shared all the gifts she received, clothes, perfume and makeup, with all the women in the office.”

But this is also said to have caused problems, as Prince Harry claims that Palace HR asked an assistant to resign after we showed them evidence that he had traded his position with Meg to get freebies.

His claims are disputed, as members of the royal family are not allowed to accept gifts unless it is for an important occasion, such as a marriage, or “official” gifts from royal engagements.

It is also said that there was confusion that Meghan was given or “lent” clothing and jewellery.

In one such incident, Meghan wore a pair of diamond earrings given to her by Saudi Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, allegedly as a wedding present, at a state banquet in 2018.

The palace claimed at the time that the earrings were loaned to the duchess by Chopard, but it was later discovered that they were, in fact, a wedding gift.

Meghan’s lawyers, Schillings, initially said: “At no time did the Duchess tell staff that the earrings were ‘borrowed from a jeweller’ as this would have been false and therefore any suggestion that she encouraged them to lie to the media is unfounded”. ‘

Two days later, Schillings added that it was “possible” that Meghan was saying the earrings were borrowed, referring to the fact that gifts given to the royal family are automatically the property of the monarch.

Much attention was drawn to the fact that the earrings were worn just days after the Saudi regime admitted to killing journalist Jamal Khasoggi.

Harry and Meghan’s lawyers at the time denied that the Duchess had ever said the earrings were a loan.

Things got off to a bad start between the two couples after Meghan Markle first met Kate in ripped jeans and no shoes.

She later revealed on the couple’s Netflix documentary that she was surprised by the level of formality ‘behind closed doors’ after meeting the couple.

She had previously hugged Prince William upon meeting him, which is said to have “completely freaked her out”. [William] out’, according to Spare.

Prince Harry gave an exclusive interview to The Telegraph, published last night.

He also called on the royal family to apologize to Meghan Markle after she made a series of explosive claims in her new book, claiming her family was treating him like he was “delusional and paranoid.”

The prince said: ‘You know what you did, and now I know why you did it. And you’ve been caught, so be honest.

It’s unclear why Harry wants his family to apologize to his wife, but he claimed he was fighting the “good fight” by siding with Meghan.

He claimed that “if people had listened” to his concerns sooner, the gulf between him and Meghan and the rest of the royals would not have gotten as wide.

The Duke of Sussex added that he could not understand why he found it “shocking and outrageous” to tell what he said was the “true” side of the story.

Speaking of his family, he said: “I wish they would really sit down with me, properly, and instead of saying I’m delusional and paranoid, they would actually sit down and have a proper conversation about this, because what I would really like is some responsibility. And an apology to my wife.

She also spoke about her belief that her family could benefit from unconscious bias training: ‘I think the same process I went through with regard to my own unconscious biases would be very beneficial for them.

“It is not racism, but an unconscious bias, if it is not confronted, if it is not recognized, if it is not learned and cultivated, which can become racism. And the way I understand it is that we all want to be part of the solution instead of part of the problem.’

Representatives for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been contacted for comment.
