Tennessee Titans legend Frank Wycheck has died at the age of 52 after falling and hitting his head at his Chattanooga home

Frank Wycheck has died at the age of 52, the Tennessee Titans announced, after a fall at his home.

A statement from his family, published on the team website, read Sunday: “At this time, it appears Wycheck fell and hit his head Saturday morning at his home in Chattanooga, TN.

“He became unresponsive that afternoon.”

He is survived by two adult daughters and three grandchildren, the Titans said.

Wycheck retired from football in 2011 after 11 seasons in the NFL.
