The Tennessee Titans dump Taylor Lewan’s possessions at his door in GARBAGE BAGS after releasing him after nine years with the team, but the outgoing left tackle admits he didn’t expect “golden suitcases” at his door.
NFL free agent Taylor Lewan posted a photo on social media of his Tennessee Titans team lined up outside his front door.
Lewan was released by Tennessee on Wednesday after nine seasons with the franchise alongside wide receiver Robert Woods and kicker Randy Bullock on a salary cap.
The three-time Pro Bowler showed on social networks how his shoes and other items turned out.
It’s unclear why Lewan didn’t clean out his locker as usual after one season in the NFL.
“Shout out to the @Titans who dropped off my stuff today,” he said via Twitter on Monday. ‘They even let me keep the shoulder pads’, followed by a greeting emoji.
Taylor Lewan was released last Wednesday in a move to create more TEN salary cap space.
The three-time Pro Bowl tackle posted a photo of his belongings, which were brought to him in garbage bags.
Yahoo Sports shared the post on his Instagram in a critical tone, only for Lewan to respond by suggesting that the Titans had little choice but to leave their gear in garbage bags.

Lewan left the Titans amicably after nearly a decade of excellent service to the Nashville franchise.
His release has been expected since he tore his ACL last September. As a result, he was placed on injured reserve.
Lewan started 100 of 105 games played for Tennessee. his podcast Bussin’ with the boys announced its release on social media, and Lewan, who turns 32 in July, retweeted the post with his own message for Titans fans.
