Thousands of Telstra customers are facing service disruptions across Australia.
More than 1,900 customers have reported service issues on DownDetector, impacting calling and internet.
A Telstra spokesperson confirmed the network was experiencing issues, but said calls to triple zero would not be affected at this stage.
“We are investigating an issue with some mobile calls,” the spokesperson said.
‘We are working on a solution and hope to have everything operational again soon.’

‘If you are a Telstra customer, you may be experiencing problems with mobile calling. We are working on a solution and hope to have everything operational again soon. We will keep you informed,” Telstra wrote on X just before 2 p.m.
The telco said mobile data is not affected and there are other ways to make calls such as FaceTime, WhatsApp and Messenger.
Customers reported incoming and outgoing calls dropped and calls failing.
Others said they could make calls but couldn’t hear the person on the other line after connecting.
Telstra said the issue was caused by a software change and was resolved by 2.30pm on Tuesday.
“There was no impact on data or 000 calls,” a spokesperson said.
“We are sorry for the impact on people’s days.”
