Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver is rumored to be replacing Jock Zonfrillo on the next season of MasterChef Australia.
And the 48-year-old has now hinted he will join the cooking show by confirming he will be traveling to Australia for an event. – the same month, filming is due to begin.
The British restaurateur recently revealed he will be speaking about food and health alongside MasterChef judge Melissa Leong on Saturday, November 11 at the Sydney Opera House.

It comes amid rumors that Jamie will join MasterChef Australia following Jock’s sudden death aged 46 in April.
Channel 10 insiders have confirmed to Women’s Day that Jamie will be set to film the new season of the hit cooking show in November.
According to the report, the British gourmet has not yet agreed to permanently replace Zonfrillo.
The 48-year-old hinted he would be joining the cooking show by confirming he would be traveling to Australia for an event – the same month filming is set to begin.
“Jamie signed a contract worth around $2 million,” the source told Women’s Day in the latest issue.
They said the deal with the bestselling cookbook author includes a trip back to the UK for Christmas as well as an accommodation allowance for his family when they visit in January.
Jamie first appeared as a guest judge on MasterChef during the fourth season in 2012.
