Tekken 8 Producer Says ‘We Haven’t Decided on Guest Characters Yet’
Tekken 8 producer Katsuhiro Harada has responded to fan demand for Final fantasy‘s Tifa Lockhart will be included as a guest character in the fighting game, but has clarified that nothing has been decided on guest characters yet.
Reply to a fan who wrote: “Tifa Lockhart would be absolutely INCREDIBLE if she made it Tekken 8 this time,” Harada said: “We all know she’s attractive and I understand that. But so far we haven’t decided anything about guest characters etc.”
If Tifa was added Tekken 8it wouldn’t be the first time that a Final fantasy character was included in the selection. Final fantasy 15‘s main character, Noctis, was added Tekken 7 as a DLC character in 2018, complete with his iconic Engine Blade. Other licensed characters in the series are included The living Dead‘s Negan Smith and Fatal anger‘s Geese Howard.
Although it is currently unconfirmed if and when Tekken 8 will see guest characters in the roster, paid downloadable content (DLC) for the game, which will add four more playable characters in the game’s first year, has already been confirmed. The only one so far The announced DLC character is Eddy Gordowhich will be released sometime this spring.

Ny Breaking Gaming’s evergreen writer Kara Phillips gave the explosive new fighting game four out of five stars in her review, writing: “Tekken 8 had some pretty big expectations to meet, but it exceeds all expectations. It’s a concrete addition to an established series and manages to add complexity to an already solid combat system. Every fight feels like your life is on the line, the mark of a great fighting game.”
