‘Teflon Trump’ endures the Stormy weather: Donald’s chances of winning the election IMPROVE despite coming face-to-face with porn star Stormy Daniels in hush-money trial

Donald Trump’s chances of winning the election have improved despite facing porn star Stormy Daniels in court.

The politician’s chances of becoming the next US president have increased by 4 percent since the hearing began, with Betfair Exchange punters showing increasing confidence during the ‘hush money’ trial.

Trump’s chances jumped 2 percent in the three days since the adult actress — reportedly paid $130,000 for her silence about sex with Trump — took the stand in a New York courtroom.

Trump has been the gamblers’ favorite for some time, but his odds fell to 47 percent on Thursday – after being at 45 percent on Wednesday, and 43 percent at the start of his trial on April 15.

The former US president’s chances of regaining the Oval Office remained unchanged at 47 percent on Sunday.

President Joe Biden has now been trailing Trump for eight months, but celebrated a one-day lead over his Republican rival on April 13.

Biden’s popularity has steadily declined since the start of the fraud trial against Trump. He has gone from 43 percent at the start of the hearing to just 40 percent today.

Sam Rosbottom, a spokesman for Betfair, said: ‘During his 2016 campaign, Trump boasted that he could ‘stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot someone’ and that he would ‘lose no voters.’

“Fast forward eight years and with less than six months to go until the vote, it increasingly feels like nothing can stop ‘Teflon Trump,’ who is favored at 11/10 over Biden at 6/4.”

He added: “Despite a series of lawsuits, Trump has a significant lead over Biden, and we still see nothing to shake confidence in the former president, who simply seems immune to bad news.”
