A desperate search is on for an 18-year-old who went missing while swimming at popular Sydney beach
A teenager went missing while swimming at a popular beach in North Sydney.
The 18-year-old was in the water at Freshwater Beach, on the city’s northern beaches, with two companions on Saturday night, but never returned to shore.
Police began an urgent search for the man shortly after 8:00 p.m. Saturday with a helicopter and a police boat circling the area.
Crews from Surf Life Saving NSW and the Toll Ambulance Rescue Helicopter have also been deployed.
