Teenage boy seriously injured after falling while train surfing in Western Sydney
A teenage boy has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after falling while train surfing in Sydney’s west.
Emergency services rushed to the rail corridor between Seven Hills and Blacktown train stations after receiving a welfare report at around 10am on Monday.
Police were told that a 14-year-old boy was believed to have been standing on the outside of the train before falling onto the tracks.
Paramedics treated the teenager at the scene and rushed him to hospital Westmead Children’s Hospital is in a serious condition.
It is understood the boy suffered serious injuries to his back, head, arm and torso.
The police are investigating the incident.
