Former Teen Mom 2 star Nathan Griffith has more legal trouble after he was arrested in Las Vegas on Wednesday night.

The 35-year-old former reality star was booked by police in the Clark County Jail on charges of strangulation, police said. TMZ.

The arrest appears to be related to a domestic quarrel as he was arrested at the house where he recently stayed.

Police were reportedly called to the house at around 9:15 pm and arrested Griffith for allegedly attacking a ‘relative’.

This is just the latest confrontation with the law for Griffith, after he was arrested in Florida in February on domestic violence charges.

It is chilling that Griffith’s latest arrest appears to be for a similar crime to the one he allegedly committed in February of this year.

At the time, he was arrested in the early morning hours of February 24 in Delray Beach, Florida.

He was charged with “house battery by strangulation,” according to booking documents obtained by Us weeklythough his alleged victim was not revealed.

The outlet noted that Griffith had married May Oyola in 2022, though they were reportedly having marital problems, and it’s unclear if the two were still together at the time.

TMZ reported that he assaulted a girlfriend at the time, and police allegedly arrested him after bruises began to develop on her neck.

Strangulation is considered a particularly dangerous form of intimate partner violence because the risk of death is greater than other forms of physical violence.

Griffith is best known for his whirlwind romance with Teen Mom 2’s Jenelle Evans.

He was featured in MTV’s hit reality show from 2013 to 2015.

He and Jenelle got engaged in January 2015, but they broke up only two months later when he was arrested for domestic violence.

The formerly engaged couple share a son named Kaiser, the second child for both of them.

Griffith has a long history of run-ins with the law and domestic violence.

In 2015, the reality TV actor was arrested and accused of pinning a woman in a bathroom and trying to take off her engagement ring, while his show Teen Mom 2 was filming at the location.

In 2020, the former model was accused of stalking a woman, who later got a temporary restraining order against him, according to The sun.
