Teen Mom 2 star Nathan Griffith’s sister’s call for help reveals chilling details of his alleged strangulation attempt on her in Las Vegas earlier this month.
The recording obtained by TMZ of the call in which a tearful Heather can be heard begging for protection.
“He tried to kill me, I’m hurt,” she told the operator.
“He strangled me,” she said of the July 12 incident.
Heather, who is a nurse, refused medical attention, saying she could treat herself, but asked for officers to arrive at the scene.

The recording revealed that this was the second call she had made about her brother’s dangerous behavior.
Griffith was eventually arrested for battery by strangulation.
In an earlier call, before the alleged attack, Heather called 911 to say that Nathan was threatening her.
“He said my husband is not home, that I have reason to be afraid.”
She said the former Marine followed her around her house, making it difficult for her to tell the operator what was going on.
Nathan appears to be talking to her in the background as Heather tells him to be quiet and leave her alone.
A police report of the July 12 incident obtained by TMZrevealed when officers arrived at her home, they found his brother had “visible red marks on her neck and redness on her eyelids.”
The outlet reported that authorities stated his sister was “scared and frantic as she described what happened to her,” after he became upset she brought up his violent past in front of their “family and significant others ‘.
Heather mentioned his alleged violent past in the calls to 911.

In her interview with detectives, she recalled that he allegedly “grabbed her by the throat” and pushed her “onto the kitchen floor” and then “climbed on top of her.”
During the attack, Heather claimed he released his grip around her neck a few times to “give her some oxygen before tightening his grip again.”
She then claims, he said, “You’re going to submit to me.”
During transport, police noted that he “banged his head against a rear window and made statements of suicide.”
TMZ noted that he kept yelling and screaming throughout the booking process.

She continued, “They arrested him on the spot. And it’s so hard to watch your little brother go through that. But at the same time he didn’t care about me when he had his hands around my neck.’
An automatic temporary restraining order was put in place to protect her from Nathan.
“I feel bad but I know I’m doing the right thing and sometimes the right thing is hard. I love my brother, but I have no choice but to do something. He almost killed me!’ she continued. “He put both hands on my throat and literally tried to kill me.”
Despite the attack, she said she still called the VA so he would have a lawyer for his “court hearing.”
As for how she plans to move forward with their relationship, Heather says they’re “done until he gets some real help.”
Nathan was booked by police in the Clark County Jail on charges of strangulation.
