The poignant moment when a burnout car crashes into a teen at an illegal hooning gathering is captured in wild footage.
The boy, 17, was hit by a blue Ford Falcon on Newhill Drive in Swanbank, Queensland just before midnight on May 6, while spiraling out of control.
A shaky video taken by witnesses shows the boy looking casually at the cars before being hit and flying into the air.
A 19-year-old accused of being the driver has since each been charged with dangerous use of a vehicle resulting in grievous bodily harm, failure to attend an incident and rendering assistance.

Additional footage shows the boy lying against an orange car after being hit, while dazed onlookers come to his aid.
The teen was rushed to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The video also showed another boy in a white T-shirt hanging halfway out of the Falcon just before hitting the victim.
A 19-year-old man from Rochedale was charged after a month-long police investigation.
Officers found a blue falcon off Chambers Flat on 26 May and towed it away for forensic examination. It was partially dismantled.
Five days later, the suspected driver was found and arrested.

He is also charged with deliberately damaging evidence, participating in group activities for racing, burnout, or other hooning offenses.
“Police will allege that a blue Ford Falcon was driving dangerously on Newhill Drive at around 11:50pm on May 6 during an illegal hooning meeting,” a police statement said.
“The 19-year-old Rochedale man was charged… [and was] today, 1 June, before the Magistrates Court of Ipswich.’
Another 17-year-old boy was sentenced under the Juvenile Justice Act for ‘honing offences’.
