Ted Cruz’s daughter Caroline looked very unimpressed by his swearing-in ceremony – after previously going viral for her savage response to her father’s praise for Donald Trump.

The 16-year-old – who has not tried to hide her disagreement with her father’s political views – joined Cruz on January 3 in the Old Senate Chamber of the US Capitol in Washington, DC.

For the occasion, she wore a light green maxi dress with intricate lace detailing and a sheer corset-style bodice.

Caroline styled her blonde locks in statement curls, which fell loosely over her shoulders, before completing the look with a touch of understated makeup.

But it seemed she couldn’t hide her apparent disapproval when her father stood before Kamala Harris.

As Cruz raised his right hand and placed the other firmly on the Bible to be sworn in, cameras caught Caroline staring somberly into the distance.

In later snaps, as the group began posing for official photos, the teen regained his composure and smiled dutifully.

It comes after Caroline was also unable to keep a straight face after her father claimed victory as senator in Texas.

On Nov. 5, the veteran lawmaker won a third straight term after facing a tough challenge from Democratic Rep. Colin Allred.

After defeating Allred 54 percent to 43 percent, Cruz entered the stage in Houston to deliver a speech in which he said at the time that he “hopes and prays that Donald Trump will be re-elected.”

His message to Trump, who comfortably won Texas and regained his seat in the White House, was met with a look of disgust from Caroline as she told the audience: “don’t clap for that.”

As his family surrounded him on stage, Cruz said, “I hope and pray that Donald Trump is re-elected as President of the United States.”

Caroline, who was seen wearing a red dress, scrunched up her face.

The video of the 16-year-old responding to her father’s words is circulating on the internet and is becoming increasingly popular among Democrats.

After she was shared on TikTok, voters flooded the comments section to praise Caroline for her hilarious response.
