We’re excited to be back for another day of Teamsheet… Mail Sport’s original football memory game that tests your football knowledge and reminds you of nostalgic moments you may have forgotten.
So, what’s the aim of the game? Well, each day you’re challenged to name a starting XI from a random match in Premier League history. You’re given the rough line-up of the team, and you’re also told how many letters are in each player’s name. The rest is up to you! Try to fill it in in as few attempts as possible.
Each time you place a bet, a point is added to your total, with 11 being the BEST possible score. Challenge your friends, family and colleagues to beat your score – and after you’ve finished, you can choose a team and we’ll create a second Teamsheet for you.
You can play two matches per day and choose ANY club – from Newcastle to Southampton – that has played in the Premier League since 2006. Premier League matches from 1992-2006 will be available in the coming weeks.
Today we look back at Chelsea’s 4-0 win over Manchester United in October 2016, when Jose Mourinho endured a nightmare return to Stamford Bridge during the first few months of his Red Devils tenure. Can you remember who started for Antonio Conte’s Blues that day?
Good luck!
