Team USA’s Suni Lee continued her post-Olympic journey by attending the Glamor Women of the Year Awards in New York on Tuesday night and even taking a selfie with Beyonce.
Lee was one of 12 women honored as part of Glamour’s Class of 2024, alongside many from the sports world.
Serena Williams, Donna Kelce and Allyson Felix were the other sports-related honorees.
Lee also posed for a photo with famous singer Demi Lovato at the event.
As part of being honored by GlamourLee landed a tell-all interview with the publication, where she connected with former gymnastics teammate MyKayla Skinner.

Skinner retired from gymnastics after the 2021 Olympics, but went out of her way to criticize this year’s team for what she perceived as a different “work ethic” than she was used to.
Lee and her teammates did not directly address Skinner’s comments, which she was forced to clarify and later apologize for. They subtly referenced it in social media posts ahead of the Paris Games.
“We love her very much, but it’s frustrating to see her abandon us because she actually knows everything we’ve been through,” Lee said. Glamour. “It was more annoying because of everything I went through.”
Lee had two types of kidney diseases that shortened her college career at Auburn. She also had to miss several months of training due to the illness.
The three-time Olympic medalist only returned to full-time training for the Olympics in January, six months before the Olympic trials in her home state of Minnesota.
Lee also revealed to Glamor a week before the trials that she had been on an IV after a relapse of her kidney disease.
Skinner has since blocked Biles on Instagram since the Olympics ended, with Lee’s comments possibly sparking the same outbreak.
