The rugby player, who was part of the team that won the first American rugby sevens Olympic medal, even managed to get a free pair of prescription glasses.
“So I get to choose which glasses I want,” she said, showing the glasses on a stand behind her.
“I’m really surprised,” she continued, saying she only had to wait 30 minutes to pick up her medication.
Ariana’s videos documenting her experiences with free healthcare have gone viral, with the athlete officially stating that she is a “free healthcare advocate.”
“This will be my new fight for action: free health care in America. Period,” she said.
“America needs to fix its health care system. Why would I, as an American girl, be so surprised about free health care?”
Ariana said the health care providers thanked her for her videos about the free services.

Commentators praised Ariana for taking full advantage of her access to free healthcare and advocating for universal health care.
“Team USA getting free healthcare for the first time is a side of TikTok I love, but I wish it wasn’t necessary,” one user captioned her video.
“I need to find a sport for LA 2028 because free healthcare is elitist,” joked another.
“Thank you for representing the USA AND emphasizing the need for universal health care,” someone else added.
A 2022 study by The Commonwealth Fund found that the US is the only high-income country without universal health care.
Athletes from the designated Team USA are eligible to receive health insurance through the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee’s Elite Athlete Health Insurance Program (EAHI).
However, this does not include dental care or extended vision coverage.
