Olympic excitement is heating up ahead of next year’s Paris Games, with Megan Thee Stallion starring in a new commercial for NBC Sports.

The rapper appears in an incredible new commercial promoting next summer’s event, standing in front of the Palace of Versailles with fire-breathing horses as she pitches her own version of the Olympics to a room full of executives.

The palace in Paris is the location of next summer’s equestrian event and in the commercial she says to the camera: ‘That’s the Olympics, Hot Girl Style’ – before it cuts back to her with a horse in the boardroom.

The executives seem unimpressed, after which the horse turns to Megan and asks her, “What don’t they understand about this?”

It’s the latest glitzy promo for one of sports’ ultimate events, which has featured Dolly Parton, Peyton Manning and Paris Hilton in previous commercials.

The opening ceremony in France next summer starts on July 26, with the equestrian event starting the next day – and NBC is the broadcaster for the United States.

The equestrian event will be one of many held around iconic French monuments.

Beach volleyball is played on the Eiffel Tower, while city sports take place on Place de la Concorde.

Incredibly, the surfing will take place almost 10,000 miles from Paris, in Tahiti, part of French Polynesia.

The next Olympic Games after Paris will go to the United States – Los Angeles will host the next Games in 2028.
