The British men won an impressive bronze medal in the 4x100m, equalling the British women’s podium finish at the rainy Stade de France.
Zharnel Hughes led the quartet to a medal in the final stage, following runs from teammates Jeremiah Azu, Louie Hinchliffe and Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake, who finished in 37.61.
However, Canada was the surprise with their experienced team of ‘war robbers’ taking gold, followed by South Africa, who took silver.
It was ANOTHER race to forget for the American relay team, who were disqualified after their first baton exchange.

The Canadian quartet of Aaron Brown, Jerome Blake, Brendon Rodney and Andre De Grasse won from lane nine with a season best time of 37.50 seconds.
