‘Team Cece or Team Reede?’ quest steps in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
“Team Cece or Team Reede?” is one of many side adventures you can find The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomand it is a required quest to complete the mayoral election quest in Hateno Village.
Starting in Hateno Village, the side adventure requires you to go through the village and get the people to vote for Cece as mayor by giving them a Hylian magic mushroom. The only problem is… Where are these people? It can be a bit difficult to find where the Reede supporters are located as they move throughout the day and their locations vary depending on the time.
Read on to find out who to give Hylian magic mushrooms to and where to find them.
“Team Cece or Team Reede?” starting location
To get the “Team Cece or Team Reede?” adventure, go to the armor shop in Hateno Village and interact with the people standing outside. You are invited inside to talk to Cece, who is shortly interrupted by Reede, the current mayor of Hateno Village. Their argument then sets the stage for another mayoral election, as Cece and Reede have different visions for the village. Cece then tasks you with convincing Reede’s supporters to vote for her by bribing them with Hylian magic mushrooms.
Locations of Reede supporters
You must distribute a Hylian mushroom to the eight Reede supporters in Hateno Village. Since the town is split between Cece supporters and Reede supporters, you need a way to tell the two apart: Cece’s supporters wear her mushroom-inspired clothes, while Reede’s supporters are not. In addition, Reede supporters are usually village elders and farmers – in general, you are likely to find them in the more rural areas of the village. Check out the sections below to see where to find all eight Reede supporters.
tamana
Tamana can often sweep her broom at the entrance of Hateno Village at night or tend to her chickens during the day.
Leop
Leop can usually be found at the bulletin board outside Cece’s shop during the day or at the inn at night.
meda
Medda can often be found during the day tending to his Hylian tomatoes on a farm on the north side of Hateno Village. At night, he can be found in his home on the south side of Hateno Village.
Grandma
Uma can often be found on the farm next to Hateno School during the day and at her home near Zanmik Shrine at night.
Carrots
Carrots can be found on the porch outside the inn from morning to night. He can also be seen at the inn’s front desk in place of his wife, Prima.
dantz
Dantz can be found in the stables outside his home in Hateno Pasture on the northeast side of Hateno Village.
Koyin
Koyin can often be found at the wharf next to Hateno Pasture on the northeast side of Hateno Village if you haven’t retrieved the letter in a bottle from the lake. If so, you can find Koyin at her home in Hateno Pasture.
tokkie
Tokk enjoys taking a daily walk to the Hateno Village Research Lab. He starts the day by sitting by the cooking pot next to Hateno Pasture and then takes his leisurely stroll to the Hateno Valley Research Lab, where he will stay until the night. He then walks back home, where he will sleep until morning.
Now that you’ve dealt out all the Hylian magic mushrooms, go back to Cece and tell her the job is done. Once you’ve done that, complete the “Team Cece or Team Reede?” they adventure.
“Team Cece or Team Reede?” reward
After you return to Cece and tell her that you have handed out all the Hylian magic mushrooms, she will give you a big savory truffle as reward.
