The shaggy-haired man, who police at the scene called “David,” was ensnared by the NYPD on the streets of Tribeca after a failed attempt to enter the building.
Dressed in tan trousers, a cream hoodie and a navy blue overcoat, ‘David’ was pictured ambitiously peering into Swift’s lobby in the morning before ending up in the cuffs.
It’s not the first time Swift has caught the attention of over-enthusiastic fans, with a string of stalkers in her history leading her sold-out ‘Eras’ mega tour to install facial recognition software to identify certain men from her past.
