Taylor Swift’s heartfelt note to ‘best friend’ Hugh Jackman that will make you cry… as the Deadpool & Wolverine star admits it ‘killed’ him

Taylor Swift shared a touching message to her “best friend” Hugh Jackman via social media on Friday, in honor of the release of his film Deadpool & Wolverine.

The 34-year-old American pop star shared a photo on Instagram of herself posing with lead actors Jackman, 55, and Ryan Reynolds, 48, with a touching caption.

“Over the past few years, I have watched one of my best friends on the planet pour all of his heart, soul, sweat, time, energy, jokes, pain, joy, rebellion, darkness, and magic into this film,” Swift began.

“He’s made the best work of his life and this film feels like a true gateway to joy, a wild escape from reality and an abs sandwich.”

Swift jokingly called the other celebrities in the photo — Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively and the film’s director Shawn Levy — “randoms” because she admired Jackman so much.

“I don’t know how he did it. But that’s Hugh for you. These other random people crashed the photo and we were too polite to ask them to leave.”

‘Deadpool and Wolverine is out! Get tickets if you like things that are indescribably awesome!’
