Taylor Swift’s ex Joe Alwyn looks forlorn on a solo stroll in London in first sighting since split
Joe Alwyn failed to smile as he was spotted for the first time since his split from Taylor Swift was revealed.
The actor, 32, looked forlorn as he stepped out in London on Wednesday, unobtrusive as he made his way through the capital’s bustling streets.
He has yet to speak out on the news that he and his girlfriend of six years Joe had broken up, but had an animated conversation on the phone.
Wrapped up against the cold, Joe donned a navy fleece jacket layered over a polo shirt and paired with baggy jeans.
Joe completed the look with a pair of brown suede boots and a brown printed cardigan.

While Joe kept a low profile, Taylor performed on her Eras tour.
The singer, 33, took the stage just days after it emerged they were splitting, with many fans wondering how she’s been doing in recent weeks.
And during the concert, an attendee in the crowd held up a sign that read “Are you OK?”, which fell into the eyeline of the Grammy winner as she sang Delicate.
In the moment, which was caught on camera and shared by many guests, Taylor appeared to respond to the sign by holding up a thumbs up.
Fans were overjoyed at the moment, lovingly sharing that it was “what they needed” to know she was okay.
One contestant shared the moment on social media, writing of the clip, “I’ll never get over someone holding up the ‘you okay’ sign and Taylor responding with a 👍.”
Fans then united to share their joy that Taylor had confirmed how she was doing with the subtle moment.
“This is so cute because honestly, we’re all a little worried. Our girl has a lot going on right now,” one TikTok user commented.

When she returned to the stage for the three Tampa shows, Taylor also alluded to her divorce from Joe while on stage.
Taking to the stage in front of nearly 70,000 fans, she didn’t shy away from quoting recent headlines about her breakup and saying to the audience, “Am I the only one or do we have a lot to catch up on?”
During her show, Taylor also brutally downplayed the meaning of her 2019 song Lover, which was said to be about Joe.
She prepared to perform the song and told the audience, “The song we’re going to play next, it’s just a love song, you know?”
Taylor had previously made the same comment about the song on all of her tour shows, but this proved all the more important after she and Joe ended their six-year romance.

A source close to Swift said, “The bottom line is that the issues in their relationship were the main reason Taylor’s career took precedence over Joe’s — which can be awkward for a couple if it’s not balanced.”
“This drove them apart and eventually they both realized they weren’t on the same page anymore.”
The insider explained that ‘It’s been hard for Joe to make it in Hollywood and not really become leading material while dating one of the most famous women in the world for the past six years.
“It was easier during the pandemic when it was just the two of them, but when things got back to normal, Taylor Swift emerged the superstar and their differences became even more apparent.
“They really tried their best and tried everything they could, but in the end they couldn’t save the relationship,” the source concludes.
News of the pair’s split broke this weekend, but a source told ET that Alwyn and Swift split amicably “a few weeks ago.”
“The relationship was just running its course,” the insider added. ‘Therefore [Alwyn] has not been spotted at any show.’
