Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn looked dashing as he attended his first public performance since splitting from the singer.

The 32-year-old English actor attended a dinner hosted by Celine Artistic Director Hedi Slimane during the 2023 Cannes Film Festival in France.

Alwyn opted for a smart black suit over a peach silk shirt that he left part open to reveal a white tank top underneath.

He further embellished his look with some shades of black and a thin gold chain around his neck.

It comes after reports Joe feels “distraught and belittled” by her new romance with British singer Matty Healy – after putting his “trust in her” when she told him she was just “friends” with the 1975 frontman .

Rumors of Taylor, 33, and 34-year-old Matty’s relationship first surfaced earlier this month, just weeks after news of her split from British actor Joe – whom she dated for six years – was made public.

According to a source with exclusive insider knowledge of the situation, Joe is very unhappy that his former partner left so soon – especially after putting his “trust” in Taylor when she started working with Matty during the final months of their relation.

“Joe feels slighted and distraught after seeing her budding relationship with Matt, but is doing his best to keep busy and focus on himself,” a source close to the actor told DailyMail.com.

In November, Matty described Taylor as ‘amazing’, while revealing that the pair had spent some time collaborating on her album Midnights – due out in October 2022 – something the insider says Joe was fully supportive of at the time. full of ‘confidence’ in his girlfriend at the time.

Two months later, on January 12, Taylor surprised fans when she gave an impromptu performance of her new hit song Anti-Hero at The 1975’s concert at London’s O2 Arena.

On May 5, The 1975 performed on the Nashville leg of Taylor’s tour – with Phoebe Bridgers for the opening set. Then he fangirled in the audience, wiggled his head and danced to the music to her.
