Taylor Swift sings that she can do it with a broken heart, but her fans found out Monday night that she can’t do it with a broken cart.
The singer experienced some arrival issues at Arrowhead Stadium and got stuck in a broken down golf cart upon arrival while waiting to be driven to the VIP section to cheer on friend Travis Kelce.
Swift arrives at every Chiefs game through the same entrance. She has to go through security before a golf cart drives her to the main entrance to take her inside. And that was especially necessary because it was a wet and rainy night in Kansas City.
But as Swifties cheered her arrival from a nearby vantage point, the cart she was riding on remained stationary.
After an awkward pause, another cart was wheeled alongside her as she rode across the street with her mother before finally entering the stadium.
Taylor Swift imagined herself arriving for Chiefs vs Bucs on Monday night
But the singer’s golf cart broke down when she arrived at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday
She shook it off moments later as she walked into the main entrance in her Chiefs jacket for Kansas City’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The singer returned to Arrowhead the day after playing three Eras Tour shows in Indianapolis this weekend – her final three shows of the tour in the United States.
The singer eventually took a seat in Kelce’s VIP suite between her mother, Andrea, and Kelce’s mother Donna.
The Chiefs hold an 8-0 lead and continue their winning start to the season against the Bucs on Monday night.
Kelce and his team are aiming for an unprecedented third straight Super Bowl title.
