Spanish football giants Real Madrid have submitted a request to move their final match of the season so that Taylor Swift can have more time to prepare for her Eras Tour at their iconic Bernabeu stadium.
Madrid play Real Betis at home on Sunday, May 24 and the pop star will perform at the Bernabeu on Thursday, May 30 as part of the European leg of her shows.
But according to The AthleticsReal have requested that the match be moved forward one day to Saturday, May 23, to give them more time to prepare for the concert.
Madrid is also trying to add a new date for Swift to perform due to overwhelming interest in tickets from Spain-based Swifties.

Real Madrid have submitted a request to La Liga to move their final match of the season to a concert
Swift’s Madrid leg of her successful Eras Tour takes place on May 30 as she tours Europe
Moving the game shouldn’t affect the LaLiga title race too much as Real are already six points ahead of second-placed Girona and eight ahead of Barcelona.
Real Betis, on the other hand, currently sit seventh in the league and are one point behind Real Sociedad for the last European spot in LaLiga.
Moving their game could also potentially lead to Sociedad’s game being pushed forward in the name of fairness as the sides battle to qualify for Europe.
Swift’s tour has also raised concerns at Lyon over the risk of her concert clashing with the Ligue 1 relegation play-off.
Lyon are currently just three points above the Ligue 1 relegation play-off spot.
