Taylor Swift’s 2019 song Death By A Thousand Cuts will be one of the FOUR additional acoustic songs featured in her Disney+ concert film

On Wednesday, Disney+ teased a new clip from Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) – premiering Thursday at 6pm PT – featuring an acoustic performance of her 2019 song Death by a thousand cuts.

The 34-year-old pop star co-wrote Death By A Thousand Cuts with Jack Antonoff and it appeared on her seventh studio album Lover.

The upbeat song was inspired by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson’s 2019 rom-com Nobody Great and is about overcoming the painful aftermath of a failed relationship.

Disney+ also teased a clip of Taylor on piano performing an acoustic version of Chestnut brown from her tenth studio album, Midnights, released in 2022.

Swift dropped her 2020 track on February 7 Vest will be recorded, so there’s one more acoustic track yet to be revealed.

The 14-time Grammy winner had planned a mysterious shoot at the Hollywood sign on Wednesday to promote the Disney+ release, but outraged residents had the whole thing scrapped – according to TMZ.

None of the four acoustic performances were included in Sam Wrench’s theatrical release of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, which grossed $261.7 million at the worldwide box office last October.

The 169-minute film captured all the action from Taylor’s $1 billion, 152-date sixth concert tour, which will take her to Sweden’s Friends Arena in Stockholm on May 17.

But first, Swift leads the nominations at the 2024 fan-voted iHeartRadio Music Awards — airing April 1 on Fox — and is up for nine trophies, including Artist of the Year and Song of the Year.

The Pennsylvania-born hitmaker – who gets 105.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify – will release her surprise eleventh studio album Tortured Poets Department on April 19, which she originally announced on stage at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards.

Taylor is left with just two archive albums (Taylor Swift and Reputation) to re-record after losing the rights to the first six of her master recordings by her conniving ex-manager Scooter Braun.

On a personal note, Swift is dating three-time Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce, and the couple attended Gucci’s Oscars after-party in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

On January 11, Page six reported that the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs have tight plans to get engaged to the blonde billionaire in July to mark their one-year anniversary of dating.
