Scott Swift, Taylor Swift’s father, is a longtime fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and a native of Western Pennsylvania. But he seems to have left all his green behind for Chiefs Red.
Swift was spotted in head-to-toe Kansas City Chiefs gear before the big game as he stood next to his famous daughter.
Cameras caught Scott wearing a Chiefs hat, KC jacket and team T-shirt hours before the game started.
This came about a year after Scott’s Philadelphia Eagles fell to the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII in a close and heartbreaking loss – long before Taylor was dating Travis Kelce.
It led to some sports fans (apparently Eagles fans) mocking Scott for his temporary move from a luxury suite in the Big Game.

“Scott Swift said if I’m going to betray my team it’s all or nothing,” one Twitter user wrote.
Another said, “The Eagles have OFFICIALLY lost Scott Swift.”
“The Eagles will never forget this betrayal, Scott Swift,” another story said.
Others seemed to mock the amount of Chiefs gear Scott was wearing, with one writing: “SCOTT SWIFT LOOKS LIKE THE CHIEFS STORE GOPS ON HIM LMAO I LOVE HIM.”
Naturally, Scott shares a luxury suite with Jason Kelce – Travis’ brother and currently a member of the Philadelphia Eagles’ offensive line.
Earlier this year, on an episode of their New Heights podcast, Jason poked fun at Scott for wearing a Chiefs jersey to a game against the New England Patriots.
Jason said, “No, it suits him. I actually think his skin color suits green more, if I say so myself.
‘It’s a nice sweater, I’m not going to lie. It’s the wrong team, but it’s a nice jersey.’

Earlier this year, Travis’ brother Jason mocked Scott for wearing Chiefs merchandise
Travis told him in November that Scott was playing center, in the same position as Jason.
“We’ll have to get together one day and talk about a store downtown,” Jason said.
On that same November 15 episode, Jason made a plea to Scott to stay with the Eagles.
“Are you going to let your devilish good looks and relationship with your daughter distract you from a life of fandom, Scott?” Jason joked, referring to his younger brother. ‘This is ridiculous.’
Travis replied, “I got him on the right side, honey.”
