Taylor Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce shows off hilarious dance moves as he twerks with stars of Kansas City’s women’s soccer team at charity event

If Taylor Swift ever needs a new backup dancer, perhaps she should look no further than boyfriend Travis Kelce.

Kelce, whose romance with Swift has dominated headlines over the past month, was captured performing some incredible dance moves at a charity fundraising event this week at a charity event with the Kansas City women’s soccer team.

The Chiefs tight end took time out of his busy schedule to attend the event along with current star Lo’eau LaBonta and volunteers from the charity.

And in a clip that has gone viral online, he even tried to perform LaBonta’s famous twerk while dancing to Aretha Franklin’s “Respect.”

LaBonta set the internet on fire last year by pretending to limp away after scoring a penalty and then performing a twerk, a celebration that became instantly iconic.

Kelce did his best to recreate the action at the fundraising event, before dragging two women watching from the side to join in as they clapped and waved his arms in the air.

Kelce is enjoying a whirlwind romance with pop sensation Swift, who has attended four of his last five NFL appearances for the Chiefs.

His new crush was at Arrowhead on Sunday for their win over the Chargers, where she celebrated with Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany.

And as Swifties and fantasy football fans know well, Kelce is actually performing better now that his new girlfriend is present.

After being ruled out with a hyperextended knee in Week 1 when the Chiefs lost to the Lions, Kelce had four catches for 26 yards in his return against the Jaguars. But in the six games since Swift first saw Travis play, he has caught 48 passes for 499 yards and four touchdowns.

That includes a performance of 12 catches for 179 yards and a score in a 31-17 win over the Chargers on Sunday, when Swift was back in an Arrowhead Stadium suite bumping Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes encountered.

In the four games Swift has attended, Travis has averaged 108 yards receiving. He had an average of 46.5 in the two games, she did not.

Kelce admitted that his new love interest is having a strong impact on his stats during his latest New Heights podcast episode with brother and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason.

“How could I not be aware of this?” he admitted.

As his brother Jason explained, there’s a stark contrast for Travis when Swift is present this season.

“We all saw that Taylor was there and it turns out it was a good thing she was there because they kept your stats,” Jason said. ‘When T Swift is playing, you average 99 metres; if your other friends and family are present, your average height is 46.5 meters.

“Not only is social media taking notice, but it looks like Big Red (coach Andy Reid) is too.”

Travis replied, “I love Big Red, what a guy. When you get Big Red’s approval and blessings, you know you’re doing something right.”
