Taylor Swift WON’T influence the 2024 election, insists Jason Whitlock as he accuses fellow conservatives of having ‘derangement syndrome’ for thinking a Travis Kelce and Chiefs win at the Super Bowl will help Joe Biden
Jason Whitlock has insisted that Taylor Swift will have no influence whatsoever on this year’s presidential election, claiming a Super Bowl win for Travis Kelce and the Chiefs will benefit the Democratic candidates.
The singer’s enormous influence on popular culture could be a factor in the race for the White House, especially as 41 million Gen Z voters prepare to cast their ballots this year.
Last week a poll was conducted by Redfield & Wilton Strategies for Newsweek found that 18 percent of voters say they are “more likely” or “significantly more likely” to vote for a candidate endorsed by the pop star.
Her influence was more visible among voters under 35.
However, 17 percent said they would be less likely to vote for a candidate backed by Swift — which could bode poorly for Democrat Joe Biden.

Swift has had a remarkable 12 months, with her hit Eras Tour grossing over a billion dollars, being named Time Magazine’s 2023 Person of the Year and her blossoming relationship with NFL star Travis Kelce.
The couple will take center stage at next week’s Super Bowl in Las Vegas, with Swift expected to arrive from Japan after playing in Tokyo the night before.
But Whitlock believes that even if the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers and Swift dominates TV coverage in front of a large national audience, it won’t affect the White House race.
Speaking about his show ‘Fearless with Jason Whitlock’, he said, “I don’t want any of the conservatives to take anything I say personally. I’m trying to keep an eye on you. I’m trying to give you a better idea of what’s really going on with Taylor Swift.
“We need to get out of Taylor Swift disorder syndrome because that’s what’s going on. Taylor disorder syndrome. You were framed.
‘You look bad. It makes conservatives look bad. It makes Christians like me look bad.
Whitlock says Swift “won’t give Joe Biden a percentage point or a vote,” despite her fan base
‘Am I a Taylor Swift fan? No. Do I understand that she is a feminist tool and harmful? Yes. She will have no influence on the presidential election. Stop linking her to the presidential election.
“The Chiefs winning the Super Bowl will not elevate Taylor Swift and make her a better surrogate for the Democratic Party. It’s not going to happen.
“Nobody in the NFL cares if the 49ers or the Chiefs win this Super Bowl. If the Chiefs win because of Taylor Swift, it won’t give Michelle Obama, Gavin Newsom or Joe Biden a percentage point. I don’t even know if it will get them a vote.
“But if they can go to voters and say, ‘Look at these conservative hypocrites. Look how crazy and foolish they are. They hate Taylor Swift because she fell in love or pretends to be in love with a football player, and these idiots think that if the Chiefs win the Super Bowl, it’s somehow a victory for Joe Biden and the left.”
‘Do not do it. Don’t give them that ammunition.’
Swift, who often keeps her politics to herself, has previously criticized Trump — and vowed to vote him out of the White House.
She accused then-President Trump of “fanning the flames of white supremacy and racism” throughout his 2020 presidency.

The Shake It Off singer condemned Trump on social media for his comments on the violence that broke out following the police-related death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
“After fanning the flames of white supremacy and racism throughout your presidency, you have the audacity to feign moral superiority before threatening violence?
‘When the looting starts, the shooting starts’??? We will vote you out in November. @realdonaldtrump,” Swift wrote in the tweet.
In recent months, Trump has also hit back at the pop star.
Trump has discussed Taylor and Kelce’s romance and made his own predictions about the tryst.
The Republican frontrunner candidate congratulated the couple, but quickly predicted they might not last.
‘I wish the best for both of them. I hope they enjoy their lives, maybe together, maybe not – most likely not,” Trump said in a candid response during an interview with the Daily Caller.
