Taylor Swift leaves wife of Chiefs security guard stunned with incredible gesture at Friday’s NFL game

Taylor Swift spoke to the wife of a Kansas City Chiefs security guard via FaceTime on Friday after tipping staff near the VIP suite where she watched Travis Kelce’s team beat the Las Vegas Raiders.

Suzie Drew, the lucky fan in question, detailed the surprise call in a TikTok video and shared photos of her husband with the singer at Arrowhead Stadium.

She explained that her partner William has recently worked in security for the Chiefs and said: ‘We know Taylor will be there – if she’s not on tour, it’s a home game then she’ll be there.

‘I always told William that if you ever get the chance, just say ‘my wife says hi’ or something like that. I’ve never really thought about it other than that.

“But it just so happened that tonight she was handing out tips to the workers and security, and somehow we ended up FaceTiming with the one and only, Taylor Alison Swift.”

Drew then shared footage of the conversation itself, which showed Swift leaning out her suite window to say hello before sharing photos of her husband taking a photo with the singer.

@suziedrew Thanks Taylor! We never got the chance to make it to the Eras Tour, but this might have been even better. You made our night @Taylor Swift @Taylor Nation ♬ original sound – Suzie

‘He has this photo, how cute! Needless to say, we’ll be fangirling all week. Probably all year round.’

She also captioned the TikTok video with, “Thanks Taylor! We never had the chance to make it to the Eras Tour, but this might have been even better. You made our night.”

Swift was at her first Chiefs game in a few weeks, with Kansas City on the road and her own Eras Tour commitments.

The Chiefs earned a narrow 19-17 victory over the Raiders on Friday, thanks to a Las Vegas error in the final moments of the game.

Center Jackson Powers-Johnson snapped the ball too early — before quarterback Aiden O’Connell was ready — meaning the ball became fumbled as the Raiders approached field goal range for a kick that would have won the game.

Swift will not return to Arrowhead this weekend when the Chiefs host the Los Angeles Chargers.

She will perform in Vancouver on the final three dates of the Eras Tour from Friday to Sunday.
