Travis Kelce’s own success in the NFL has been a major draw for Taylor Swift, it has been revealed.
The 34-year-old Kelce is a two-time Super Bowl winner with the Kansas City Chiefs – the team he played for his entire career – and has built a reputation as one of the best tight ends in NFL history.
It is that success and the lifestyle he has lived around it that, US Weekly reported this on Friday eveningled to Swift and her inner circle being won over by Kelce.
A source was quoted by the publication: “Travis is someone who is so different to her. With him it’s easy. She doesn’t have to worry about anything.
‘He has his own career and money. So he’s not with her for the wrong reasons. He has his own successful career and understands the demands.

‘There is no drama and they are happy. He comes to visit, she comes to visit. It works for them.’
Swift was at three of Kelce’s last four games in the NFL, cheering him on amid a five-game winning streak for the Chiefs.
It’s currently unclear if she’ll be back at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City this weekend when the Chiefs and Kelce play the Los Angeles Chargers, but for the short term, she doesn’t have many chances to see him play anymore.
Next week the Chiefs will be in Denver to play the Broncos, but the following weekend they will head to Germany to play the Miami Dolphins on November 5 – four days before Swift’s Eras Tour resumes in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
However, Kelce’s bye week with the Chiefs falls on the weekend after the Dolphins game, meaning he could theoretically see her play in South America.
She’s touring Argentina and Brazil until Nov. 26 so she can return to watch the Chiefs play the Green Bay Packers on Dec. 3.
Kelce currently has a $54 million contract with the Chiefs that runs through next year. Earlier this year he said he is underpaid, but he doesn’t mind.
“My managers and agents love to tell me how underpaid I am,” Kelce told Vanity Fair.

“Every time I talk about more money, they say, ‘Why don’t you go to the Chiefs and ask them?’
But Kelce said cash is no substitute for being part of a winning team — and the Chiefs won the Super Bowl earlier this year. He compared his situation to former teammate Tyreek Hill, who left the Chiefs to sign a $30 million contract with the Dolphins.
“When I saw Tyreek making $30 a year, in the back of my mind I thought, man, that’s two to three times what I’m making now,” Kelce said.
“I think the free market seems nice until you go somewhere and you don’t win. I like winning. I like the situation I’m in.’
Swift, 33, has an estimated net worth of $740 million following her hugely popular Eras Tour, which will continue well into next year with more dates in the US, Europe and Asia.
