Body language expert weighs in on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s PDA at the US Open amid rumors their relationship is PR stunt

A body language expert claimed that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s public interaction at the US Open seemed like an attempt to “prove their passion to the world,” amid rumors that their relationship was a PR stunt.

Speculation arose that the pop star and the athlete, both 34, had faked their romance to boost their careers after an alleged “contract” circulating online last week detailed a plan for a split.

Days after the document – which Travis’s spokespeople labeled “completely false and fabricated” – surfaced online, the couple appeared completely unfazed as they attended the US Open in New York City together, showing off their affection for the cameras.

UK-based body language expert Judi James analysed their interactions exclusively for DailyMail.com and said it appeared the singer and NFL star were trying to portray “a very dreamy, idealistic version of being in love” based on their poses.

“When you’re trying to debunk ‘fauxmance’ rumors, the most effective and persuasive route is to laugh them off. Ignore them,” she said.

‘They should be a feast for the eyes for a couple in love, but for a celebrity, A-list power couple, whose relationship is a meeting of brands as well as minds and hearts, it will be tempting to perform the gruesome and challenging ‘denial ritual’ of proving to the world that your emotions have not been faked in a PR office.

‘It appears Taylor and Travis have taken the ‘human emoji’ route to prove their passion to the world by striking a series of poses that define a very dreamy, idealistic version of being in love.’

The two stars were spotted hugging and kissing at the sporting event and they also danced together to The Darkness’ hit single I Believe in a Thing Called Love.

Judi added that while they may have made a few more public appearances to quash the rumors, it still seems like their romantic embrace is genuine.

She pointed out that Taylor often “throws herself into everything” and that she’s “never” been “shy” in front of the cameras when it comes to showing her love for Travis.

“If this was anyone other than the ever-enthusiastic Taylor, these might be over-the-top rituals,” she continued.

But she and Travis have never been shy about being in front of the cameras since they started dating, and they’ve never been coy in their public posts. That’s something to keep in mind when you’re being accused of a lack of authenticity.

“Taylor is a woman who throws herself into everything in an adorable way, with total dedication and effort, a cosplay style.”

Judi insisted Taylor’s body language during the US Open was that of a girlfriend in love.

“Her body language betrays that she is close to passing out from romantic love as she stands with Travis’ arm around her waist and her face turned toward the audience and cameras. She places her hand on his in a gesture of approval and leans her head back on his chest with a dreamy smile,” the expert said.

‘She even raises one arm to expose her armpit and forearm as she caresses his neck.

At one point, she tugs on his vest to flirtatiously get his attention and tenderly touches his face to give him a romantic kiss on the lips.

‘All of this takes place standing and in full view of the viewer, as do her captivating vocals, during which she playfully hits Travis on the chest to encourage him to join in.’

She also pointed out that even the pop star’s outfit — a red plaid dress, which she paired with a heart-shaped ring — indicates that she is “totally, girlishly in love with her man.”

The document, which was first posted on Reddit, outlined a detailed plan to release an official statement about their split on September 28. It was written by what appeared to be the tight end’s PR firm, Full Scope.

After the information spread online, a Full Scope spokesperson insisted it was “completely false and fabricated and not created, issued or authorized by this agency.”

The representative also said that they have hired lawyers to try to find out who forged the documents, but it is not expected that they will find the culprit.

“We have activated our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and damaging forgery of documents,” authorities said.

A source told DailyMail.com afterwards that Taylor and Travis were not bothered by it and that they were in fact… were planning something ‘super special’ on the date listed as ‘break up’.

“Taylor wasn’t bothered by it and thought it was really funny,” the insider said. “She normally doesn’t pay attention to this kind of stuff, but this was a hilarious AI reality.”

“It’s not even worth actually responding to that, whether it’s from her or her team. She and Travis had a good laugh about it, and his camp only hired lawyers because his PR firm was listed on the document.

Now that they’ve learned that their ‘breakup date’ is coming up fast – September 28th – they need to plan something really special and fun on that day to commemorate it.

“Coincidentally, September 28th coincides with the first NFL game of the season and is also National Beer Drinking Day. So that’s definitely a good date for a night out.”

In addition to the US Open, Taylor and Travis were also recently photographed enjoying a number of romantic nights out.

On Friday, they were spotted together at a pizzeria in New York City and a day later they attended model Karen Elson’s wedding.

The Cruel Summer singer also cheered on her boyfriend at the Kansas City Chiefs home opener on September 5.

It was later reported that she surprised Travis with expensive gifts worth $42,000 to celebrate the start of the NFL season.
