Taylor Swift ‘spent $42k on lavish gifts for Travis Kelce ahead of the new NFL season’ – after Chiefs star’s team blasted ‘split contract’ as fake

Travis Kelce reportedly received a lavish gift worth $42,000 from Taylor Swift on the eve of the new NFL season.

Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs got their three-game winning streak off to a perfect start on Thursday night, taking home a 27-20 win over the Baltimore Ravens in their first game of the 2024 season.

Swift watched from the stands at Arrowhead Stadium as her husband helped Kansas City get off to a successful start, just days after a shocking fake contract surfaced on social media announcing the two were separating.

And according to The American SunBefore the match, the pop star spent an incredible five-figure sum on gifts for his beloved Travis.

Swift reportedly made sure he was ready for the new season by spending $42,000 on a selection of designer bags and clothing for Kelce, some of which are in red — the Chiefs’ famous color.

A source close to the Kansas City tight end had this to say: “The team is going on the road again for a long trip across the country, so that was a really good move and a good idea by Taylor.

“She also bought him some fall and winter clothes, because the temperature is going to drop soon: a turtleneck, a jacket, a coat and a vest that he saw in Paris and that he was talking to her about for a while. He’s really done with all that stuff… because he likes to take a lot of stuff with him when he travels with the team, or even when he travels to attend events and with Taylor.”

Kelce was reportedly surprised with two Louis Vuitton Keepall Bandouliere 50 bags, one valued at $4,000 and the other at $4,800.

Swift also bought him an $11,100 truck and a $1,130 toiletry bag from the same luxury French designer store, along with a $2,060 cashmere cardigan, a $1,450 silk and cashmere turtleneck and a $560 beanie to keep him warm in the winter.

Her spending safari also included two coats from Hermès; a $5,050 capsule coat with a ribbed hem and a $5,850 hooded car coat.

The insider added that Taylor wished Travis a “really good season.”

Earlier this week, Kelce’s team hired lawyers after a fake contract circulated online that claimed his and Swift’s relationship was a sham.

The documents, which appear to be from Los Angeles-based firm Full Scope, reveal that the supercouple has developed a strategy to split, with an announcement scheduled for September 28.

A suspected plan was also outlined to issue an official statement later this month, three days “after the split,” to “give the initial media hype time to subside and provide clarity.”

It added that the announcement would be “graceful and respectful and would emphasize mutual respect.”

Kelce and the Chiefs are hoping to win a third straight Super Bowl this season after retaining their title in 2023.

After sparking a romance with the NFL icon, Swift attended a number of Kansas City games last year and is expected to do the same this season.
