Taylor Swift skips Chiefs’ game in Cleveland despite speculation she had jetted in on her birthday weekend

Taylor Swift has chosen not to spend the end of her birthday weekend in Cleveland, skipping the Chiefs’ road game against the Browns on Sunday.

Her boyfriend Travis Kelce is back in his native Ohio for a rare game against Cleveland, and many expected Swift to join him for his homecoming.

Social media was even flooded with rumors on Sunday morning, with fans speculating that her private jet had landed nearby – and even that she had been spotted at a local Starbucks.

However, Swift instead opted to stay away from the match after confirmation from stadium officials shortly before kick-off.

Fans quickly took to social media to have their say, with one writing: “Taylor Swift will literally do anything for love except attend a Cleveland Browns game.”

Another said: ‘Does Taylor Swift just hate Cleveland? I mean, her boyfriend is from here, show some love to the city.”

The pop superstar’s whereabouts are currently unclear after she visited a children’s hospital in Kansas City earlier this week.

Kelce made the hospital visit with her on Thursday and then attended a Chiefs Christmas party on Friday – the day his girlfriend turned 35.

Rumors on social media claimed Swift had a low-key party in Kansas City on Friday night before Kelce flew to Cleveland with his teammates on Saturday.

So far this season, Swift has only missed one Chiefs home game – and that was due to a clash with the final run of her sold-out Eras Tour show.

She has yet to take her place in the stands for all of the Chiefs’ road games this season, skipping visits to Atlanta, LA, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Buffalo and Carolina.

It could very well be that the Cruel Summer singer is saving herself for another playoff run, with the 12-1 Chiefs hoping to reach another Super Bowl.

During her hospital visit earlier this week, Swift opened up to one of the children about the stress she felt during last year’s run, which culminated in a win in Las Vegas against the San Francisco 49ers.

“I don’t mind Brock Purdy,” Swift said in a video shared by a parent in the department. “He put me through a lot last February, but it all went better.”

“I like Travis now,” was the child’s response, before Taylor joked, “Me too.” That’s an absolute yes.’
