Taylor Swift does NOT sit with Trump supporter Brittany Mahomes at Chiefs game again after former president lashed out – as popstar snubs WAG bestie for her mom and A-List pals

Taylor Swift returned to Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday to watch the Chiefs, but for the second week in a row, she wasn’t seated next to Brittany Mahomes.

Swift and Mahomes have formed a close bond through their relationships with Chiefs stars Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, but have also publicly endorsed several presidential candidates of late, with Mahomes himself reportedly liking a social media post by Donald Trump and Swift endorsing Kamala Harris.

And while the friends were seen together again this past weekend at the US Open, they were separated in Kansas City for the second week in a row, as Swift was spotted in her suite without Mahomes.

Swift, who has been dating tight end Kelce since last year, arrived at the game earlier in the day with her mother Andrea, her brother Austin and singer Danielle Haim.

Mahomes also posted an Instagram Story of her view — without the singer in sight — and posed with her and Patrick’s children Sterling Skye and Lavon (“Bronze”).

Swift made a stylish entrance into the game in a long Chiefs T-shirt, knee-high black boots and gold jewelry, as seen in images posted to X by Aaron Ladd of KSHB.

Swift was already a regular on the Sunday news, and it wasn’t for any personal reason.

She was again the subject of national debate after former President Donald Trump posted the words “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT” in all caps on his social media platform Truth Social.

Swift recently publicly endorsed Kamala Harris for president, a move that reportedly resulted in 338,000 visits to Vote.gov, a federal voter registration website that the “Fortnight” singer referenced in her Instagram endorsement post.

It wasn’t the first time Trump has criticized the pop superstar this week, saying he “likes Ms. Mahomes much better.”

That’s a reference to Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who recently expressed her support for Trump’s 20-point platform by “liking” one of his campaign’s Instagram posts.

Since then, Brittany has been praised and criticized by conservatives and liberals for her support of the 45th president.

The question that lingered Sunday was whether political differences would prevent Swift and Brittany from meeting at Arrowhead Stadium.

In the NFL’s Week 1 opener, Swift sat in a luxury box next to Chariah Gordon, the fiancée of Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman. Notably absent from Swift’s box was Brittany Mahomes.

That fueled speculation that there could be a rift between the two over political differences.

But as sources at the Daily Mail reported after the first game of the season, there is no animosity between the two.

The pair were spotted at a swanky cocktail bar in Kansas City after the first game of the 2024 season, in honor of the start of a new NFL season.

Swift and Mahomes were also spotted together last Sunday during the men’s singles final at the US Open.

While Taylor Fritz was defeated by Jannik Sinner, Brittany and Taylor hugged each other warmly as drinks flowed freely in their suite (not counting Brittany, who is pregnant).

The bride and groom both appeared to be in good spirits as the party sipped champagne.

The group, excluding Brittany, ordered two bottles of Rosé Champagne Moët et Chandon and two bottles of Champagne Impérial Moët et Chandon, sources close to Travis said. The American Sun.

But a source exclusively told DailyMail.com that they ‘respect their different viewpoints’ and that they made a ‘pact’ last month not to discuss politics anymore.

It remains to be seen whether the friends will also be seen together off the field.

On the field, it’s expected to be a close battle, with Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce taking center stage.

Last week, the Chiefs, with Swift in the mix, defeated the Baltimore Ravens despite the lack of rapport between Mahomes and Kelce.

Kelce caught three of his four targets for just 34 yards and finished the night as Kansas City’s fourth-leading receiver.

He hopes to bounce back against Cincinnati, which was defeated at home by the New England Patriots in Week 1.
