Taylor Swift has shown her pride in Travis Kelce’s nomination for the NFL’s Walter Payton Man of the Year Award after liking a post from the Kansas City Chiefs on Instagram.
The pop superstar’s relationship with one of the country’s biggest soccer stars is going from strength to strength, and while Taylor doesn’t post much about him publicly, she has hinted at how she feels about his impressive nomination.
On Instagram, the Chiefs posted how Kelce’s efforts “extend beyond the football field” with a video clip of him talking about his life, and Swift was quick to chime in.
Fans, as you’d expect, immediately noticed Swift’s activity on the post and took to the comments section to share their own thoughts: “Omg Taylor liked this!!” one wrote, while another added: “Sobbing Taylor loved this.”
It is not the first time that Kelce has been considered for the award, after he was already nominated in 2020, but lost to the now Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson, who is also married to a pop star in Ciara.
This year, however, Kelce hopes to take it one step further and beat his 31 NFL rivals to win the award for the first time.

The NFL announced the 32 nominees on Thursday before presenting the winner with the trophy during NFL Honors night during Super Bowl week in New Orleans.
Kelce, of course, hopes to be in town anyway as he and the Chiefs try to get the three-peat.
In a statement, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said, “The Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award celebrates Walter’s enduring legacy of excellence on the field and compassion off it.
“This award is the competition’s most prestigious honor, and we are proud to recognize these 32 outstanding men for the positive impact they make in their communities every day.”

Kelce has been nominated for the Walter Payton Man of the Year award for his work off the field
The winner will receive a donation of up to $265,000 to a charity of their choice. The others will receive up to $55,000 for their charities. Cameron Heyward of the Pittsburgh Steelers won the 2023 award.
Kelce and Swift have been dating for over a year now, and the pop superstar hasn’t missed a game at Arrowhead so far this season.
