Taylor Swift OVERLOAD! Whoopi Goldberg jokingly collapses on The View after singer’s romance with Travis Kelce is brought up yet again and she reaches breaking point
Whoopi Goldberg jokingly collapses during Hot Topics on The View – when co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin brings up Taylor Swift again.
The 68-year-old host had just finished criticizing “toxically masculine” men for criticizing Taylor getting screen time at boyfriend Travis Kelce’s football games, so when Alyssa brought her up again, the actress playfully pretended to have a meltdown .
Alyssa, 34, had changed the subject to new movie Argylle β starring movie star Bryce Dallas Howard β and brought up Taylor, 34, again.
There is a running conspiracy theory that Taylor is the author of the book behind the Argylle film β under the pseudonym Elly Conway.

Argylle director Matthew Vaughn has debunked the rumor, but it’s a rumor that’s still swirling.
“Argylle, as we know, is based on a book supposedly written by a novelist named Elly Conway, but there’s a conspiracy theory going around that Elly Conway is actually a pseudonym for Taylor Swift,” Alyssa said.
‘Oh my God!’ Whoopi said as she laughed and put her head on the table as if she were about to collapse.
Co-host Joy Behar also shook her head and said “Oh my God.”
However, Bryce, 42, answered the question about the book and the novelist; she plays Elly Conway in Argylle – based on the book Argylle by Elly Conway.
βIt’s really important because Taylor Swift is an icon and works really hard on all the things she creates, and we would never want to take credit for something she wasn’t a part of,β Bryce said.
βSo yes, Taylor Swift didn’t write Argylle, but none of us have a full understanding of the mystery surrounding Elly Conway. Matthew Vaughn, the director, his daughter heard about this theory about Taylor Swift, rushed into his room and said, “Why didn’t you tell me Taylor Swift wrote Argylle, Dad? You should at least be able to trust me?” “‘

‘And he said, “Hmm, excuse me?” and went online and saw this.β
Last month, Matthew said Rolling stone same story, with the addition: ‘There’s an Elly Conway who wrote the book, but it’s not Taylor Swift. And I say that because I imagine Taylor Swift has a lot of people trying to jump on her bandwagon left, right and center, and I don’t want to be part of that club.β
Adding, βI read the conspiracies and I thought, wow, they’re leaving no stone unturned! But it’s not Taylor Swift. She definitely didn’t write the book.’
Joy then said, βOkay. Okay enough with Taylor Swift. I mean, we love the girl, but okay.β
Alyssa jokingly added that she tries to get Taylor in every segment.
The conversation about Argylle and Taylor came just after Whoopi and Joy talked about why football fans are so angry with the singer and how she appears briefly on broadcasts when she is at the game to support Travis.
Whoopi said, ‘What are you so worried about? Why are you so angry? There are so many things to be angry about in this world. Why are these men toxically masculine?’
Joy added: ‘These boys need therapy, see a psychiatrist! I mean, they don’t think it’s manly to be in therapy. It’s not about male (or) female, it’s about your brain, and that’s why they need some help, and that’s why I feel sorry for them.β

Co-host Sara Haines echoed the comments: βHere comes Taylor Swift. She has more money and therefore more power. She is more famous and comes to visit her boyfriend at his house.’
Taylor is an avid supporter of boyfriend Travis, who will play with his team – the Kansas City Chiefs – in the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, February 11.
