NFL reporter Albert Breer has sparked outrage online by asking if Taylor Swift sat next to Dennis Rodman during the Bears vs Chiefs game – despite the spectator in question looking nothing like him.
Swift was in Arrowhead on Sunday to cheer on new beau Travis Kelce as he helped the Chiefs claim a 41-10 win over Chicago, watching from the stands as he donned a red and white jersey.
The pop star, whose rumors of a romance with Kansas City have dominated headlines in recent weeks, was able to let loose when Kelce scored a touchdown early in the second half.
But while the sight of Swift celebrating in the stands drew most of the attention that night, Breer was instead left intrigued by an unknown man sitting to her left.
And the journalist, who works for Sports Illustrated’s MMQB, thought he had cracked it.

Swift, who was at Arrowhead on Sunday to cheer on new beau Travis Kelce, sat next to a mystery spectator during the game
Breer thought he had solved the mystery and bizarrely suggested the man was NBA icon Rodman
Fans were quick to pounce on the NFL journalist as there was barely any resemblance to Rodman
He wrote on X during the game: “Is that Dennis Rodman sitting next to Taylor Swift?”
Since the spectator was clearly not former NBA star Rodman — with his style of sunglasses one of the few similarities between them — fans quickly took to social media to call out Breer for his mistake.
One said: ‘Oh no Albert. This is a wild thing to say.”
Another commented, “That looks nothing like Dennis Rodman.”
A third said: ‘The disrespect is real. Bro doesn’t even look like him’.
A fourth wrote: “You haven’t seen Dennis Rodman lately, have you?”
“You can’t be serious,” said another.
While people simply said: ‘Oh dear’.
Breer was even accused of racism by others who took it a step further by condemning his post.
One said: ‘This was racist!’
Another saying: “Do you think a black guy with sunglasses has Dennis Rodman on?”
Breer was accused of ‘disrespect’ by several users on social media platform
While one posted: ‘Dude, seriously? Are you going to let this ignorant tweet stand?”
It is currently unclear who the spectator in question was, although it is safe to say that Breer’s bizarre guess was certainly incorrect.
Rodman built a legacy as perhaps the greatest rebounding forward in NBA history during his time with the Detroit Pistons, Chicago Bulls and more.
As for Swift and Kelce, the pair was spotted leaving Arrowhead together after the Chiefs’ win on Sunday night.
