But the pop star’s tour appears to be going full steam ahead, with new images of workers preparing the stage for her first concert on the Australian leg of her Eras Tour.
Construction workers were seen at the MCG on Tuesday putting together the Trouble hitmaker’s iconic catwalk stage.
Forklifts carried large structures across the field while huge light stands were pulled into place.

Huge marquees were set up outside the stadium with barriers to keep the lines of eager fanatics organized.
Elsewhere, trucks continued to deliver needed equipment as screens in the MCG began flashing Taylor’s Eras Tour graphics.
It comes as at least one person was killed and 15 others injured in a horror shooting during the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade.
Two gunmen opened fire in Union Station shortly after 3:30 p.m., seconds after the team, including Travis Kelce, 34, and Patrick Mahomes left the stage.
But the pop star, 34, has been trying to calm her nerves with work as she prepares the stage for her first concert on the Australian leg of her Eras Tour.

Dozens of empty bleachers surrounded the field as the cat walk was constructed
Police evacuated the train station as large crowds fled in panic after the shots rang out. Up to a million people were expected to descend on Kansas City for the parade.
The two gunmen were arrested, although their identities and motive remain unclear.
Reports indicate that during the tragic celebration, several children were also shot and rushed to nearby Children’s Mercy Hospital.
Kansas City Fire reportedly said that of the nine injuries, five were “severe,” three were “critical” and one person had non-life-threatening injuries.
Hectic scenes outside the station also included a man appearing to try to sprint away from the crowd, before several men grabbed him and pinned him to the ground.

The men who knocked the alleged attacker to the ground shouted, “We’ve got him, we’ve got the gun!”
A man in a red hoodie was pictured being arrested, although it is unclear if he was one of those involved in the shooting.
Officers are now evacuating the streets around the train station and police emphasize that the situation remains ‘fluid’.
Fans were seen leaving the scene, while several people were wheeled away in stretchers.
Police said they released everyone in Union Station about 15 minutes after the shooting, but ordered the crowd to stay away from the area.
