Taylor Swift makes ‘thoughtful’ $250K donation to families in need before attending Chiefs vs. Texans game

Taylor Swift made a very generous donation to Operation Breakthrough before arriving at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday to cheer on her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

Hours before watching the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Houston Texans, the 35-year-old pop star was praised for her $250,000 contribution to the nonprofit, which provides education and assistance to children and families in poverty.

Operation Breakthrough, which has provided a safe and loving environment for Kansas City families since 1971, shared a heartwarming video on social media featuring the children supported by its donation.

“Thank you, @taylorswift13, for making our holidays even brighter! Your kindness and thoughtful donation of 250,000 euros mean a lot to our children and families,” the organization wrote in posts on Instagram and Twitter.

In the footage, a number of children and teens thanked Swift for her support and said they all “love” her.

Over the past year, Swift’s philanthropic efforts also included donations to numerous food banks across the country, visiting patients at Children’s Mercy Hospital last week and handing out $197 million in bonuses to everyone who worked on her Eras Tour.

This is the first Chiefs game since her 21-month Eras Tour in Vancouver on December 8.

The couple has been at the center of engagement rumors in recent weeks after he threw her a surprise party with all her closest friends and family.

While showing her support for Kelce at his latest game, Swift wore a $512 fluffy red jacket from Charlotte Simone, a fluffy bucket hat, black boots and plaid tights.
