Taylor Swift dropped Easter eggs in her outfits ahead of the 1989 release (Taylor’s Version).
The 33-year-old singer has hinted at the release of her own version of her fifth studio album, as she revived elements of her style from that particular era in recent weeks.
She’s been spotted a lot lately, especially enjoying romantic evenings with her new boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, during her break from her ongoing Eras Tour.
During those outings, she dropped subtle Easter eggs and brought back her affinity for knee-high heels, vintage leather handbags and the color blue.
On the eve of the re-release, she was spotted in a pair of brown leather knee-high boots that she hadn’t worn since 2015.

Dropping hints: The singer, 33, hinted at the release of her own version of her fifth studio album as she revived elements of her style from that particular era in recent weeks
Most notably, she wore many blue costumes during her concert tour in Los Angeles on August 9, in reference to the 1989 announcement that would be unveiled later that same evening.
On that particular night, she wore a gorgeous, pastel blue Alberta Ferretti number with flared sleeves.
She also rocked a cerulean blue sparkly crop top and mini skirt set from Roberto Cavalli at one point.
Swift also debuted an intricate and enchanting halter dress by Nicole + Felicia Couture during the evening.
Even at the premiere of her tour film about two weeks earlier, she wore a baby blue dress and Oscar de la Renta eyeshadow, as well as her signature bold red lip.
She also styled her hair in an updo, which at first glance made many fans think she had chopped off her blonde locks.

This time she opted for a simple black cardigan and a gray pleated miniskirt, but we saw her classic red lip rocking again.
In May 2019, during her Lover era, Swift revealed to Entertainment weekly that dropping hints through her outfits was “one of her favorite ways” to drop Easter eggs for her loyal fans.
“Easter eggs can be left on clothing or jewelry,” the 12-time Grammy winner told the outlet.

“This is one of my favorite ways to do this,” she explained. “Because you’re wearing something that foreshadows something else, and people usually don’t notice it right away.”
“But they know you’re probably texting,” she added with a sharp eye over her Swifties. “They’ll find out in time.”
As for why she started dropping Easter eggs for her fans and has continued to do so for so long, she explained how “fun” and “playful” it is for her and her Swifties.
“I love that they’re into dropping cryptic hints. Because as long as they like it, I’ll keep doing it,” she said. ‘It’s fun. It feels naughty and playful.’
