Justin Reid has revealed the first time he and his Chiefs teammates met Taylor Swift after she attended her first game to cheer on Travis Kelce as he raved about the pop star’s authenticity.
Reid — a two-time Super Bowl champion and safety for the Chiefs — recalled meeting Swift for the first time ever after she attended Kansas City’s home game against the Chicago Bears on September 24. Kelce also booked a bar so everyone could have a chance to actually get to know his then world famous girlfriend.
“The first time I met Taylor was actually… the same night she was publicly at the stadium where everyone knew the cameras were all on her,” Reid said on the podcast. Underground golfearlier this month.

“All the players were invited and everyone meets Taylor at some point, and Taylor is just great.”

Commenting on the hitmaker’s friendliness and personality, Reid said: ‘She found a way to compliment everyone she met that night.
“(Taylor and Travis) had a blast, had a good time. Everyone got the chance to meet her. It was a really organic space and it was a lot of fun.”
Fans were thrilled with the way Kelce introduced Swift to all of his teammates, with one sharing in the video’s comments: “I’m impressed that TK was really thoughtful in the way he handled her fame and her knowledge made with his team and the world.’

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid also likes Swift, having bashed some of the team’s critics for insinuating the pop star would be a distraction to players. He even once described Swift as “very, very sweet.”
Kelce and Swift have been dating for almost a year and were spotted swimming in the ocean during their trip to the Bahamas on Monday.
