Taylor Swift is dragged into Blake Lively’s drama with It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni – as cruel trolls unfairly label the pair ‘mean girls’

Taylor Swift has unwittingly gotten involved in Blake Lively’s It Ends With Us drama. Vicious internet trolls claim the actress is using the singer for “leverage.”

Online trolls have pointed out that Taylor is one of Lively’s best friends and unfairly lumped her in with the Gossip Girl starlet’s behavior.

Lively is currently embroiled in a feud with her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni, and has also been criticized online for a number of press interviews she has given, including an “awkward” interview in 2016 that made the journalist “want to quit her job.”

‘Blake Lively is a mean girl and everyone is shocked I find that so funny. She is best friends with Taylor Swift…’ someone wrote on X.

Another troll commented: ‘Blake Lively is best friends with Taylor Swift, that makes so much sense. I can see Blake taking some tips from Taylor and using her “untouchable” fame and influence to turn people against someone they see as competition. Too bad the public can see right through this kind of thing now.’

Someone else on X claimed that the pair were “both incredibly boring, mediocre, white women who got way too much praise for their minimal performances.”

Swift has previously been accused of shady chart practices to “sabotage” some of her musical rivals.

While promoting It Ends With Us, Lively, 36, couldn’t resist waxing lyrical about her best friend Swift.

Playing a game of ‘Unpopular Opinion’ on the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show, she fiercely defended Swift’s Eras Tour setlist, which features more than 40 songs and runs for three and a half hours.

After a caller called in to share his controversial opinion that the pop star should no longer sing Love Story, the mother of four responded with a sarcastic comment.

“Ooh, that’s intense,” Lively said. “You just hate happiness, or joy, or just your ears? You don’t like your ears?”

The caller replied, “I think it’s a really good song, but I think another Fearless song would do well in the spotlight.”

“I think it’s on there because it’s so well-known, but I think a lesser-known song deserves time too,” the woman explained to Ryan Reynolds’ wife.

Lively responded that she “honestly” wished “the concert would only be 47 hours so all the songs could be played the entire time.”

Online trolls have flooded social media with mean tweets about Lively and Swift

The show’s host, Greg James, 38, then asked: “So all the songs have to be played from start to finish?”

“Yes,” Lively insisted.

Throughout her career, Swift has written over 67 songs herself, 274 in total.

Since 2006, the 14-time Grammy winner has released 11 original studio albums, 4 re-recorded albums, 5 extended plays (EPs) and 4 live albums.

She is currently on her sixth concert tour, the most successful music tour of all time.

Lively recently attended the Eras Tour in Madrid in May, along with her husband and their eldest children James (8), Inez (7) and Betty (4).

A year earlier, in May 2023, she brought James and Inez to another Eras Tour show.

Last month, Swift announced that she is the godmother of Lively and Reynolds’ children.

Swift, 34, Lively and Reynolds have been good friends for years.

The Bad Blood hitmaker even used her daughters’ names in her songs.

Her song Betty, from the 2020 album Folklore, features the names James, Inez and Betty.

And on her 2017 album Reputation, James’ voice can be heard on the song Gorgeous.

It Ends With Us has become one of the most talked-about films of the year, but for all the wrong reasons.

Based on the novel of the same name by Colleen Hoover, this romantic drama follows Lily Bloom (played by Lively) as she becomes embroiled in an abusive relationship with Ryle Kincaid (Baldoni).

The film is already a $93 million box office hit, but has been plagued by rumors of tensions on set, a feud between Lively and Baldoni and a cold press conference.
