Taylor Swift is CARRIED OFF of platform on stage after mechanical glitch at Saturday’s Dublin concert

Taylor Swift kept her cool during a mechanical problem during her concert in Dublin on Saturday evening.

The 30-year-old superstar, who told the sold-out crowd at the Aviva Stadium that her Folklore album was inspired by the Emerald Isle, continued to wow the crowd as she kept her composure while dealing with an unforeseen incident on stage.

The hitmaker was performing The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived on top of a raised platform when something went wrong.

The elevator did not go down, leaving the singer stuck.

The Grammy winner, who wore a white dress with black lettering under an oversized white military jacket, knelt on stage. One of her dancers, who a fan recognized as Jan, quickly came over and helped her down before quietly walking away.

A more serious incident occurred during Friday night’s show.

The singer saw with his sharp eye that a number of fans were suffering from dehydration right in front of the stage and alerted security.

“We need help there,” she said, singing Lavender Haze.

“I see you have it. Awesome. Everyone who works at this stadium is amazing,” she said before finishing the song.

Swift performed The Albatross from her new album The Tortured Poets Department for the first time to an audience in Dublin.

It was part of the surprise song segment that fans have been looking forward to, and she combined Dancing With Our Hands Tied from the album Reputation.

“I wait all night for (the acoustic set) because this is the part of the show that keeps me on the edge of my seat,” she told the audience before starting to strum the song on her guitar.

As of Sunday, the new album has safely topped the Billboard 200 chart for ten weeks in a row.

Swift debuted The Albatross from her new album The Tortured Poets Department to an audience in Dublin. The album topped the Billboard 200 for 10 consecutive weeks, and if it stays at the top for another week, it will match the success of 1999 and Fearless.

This achievement places her among a select group that also includes the late Whitney Houston and Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder and Morgan Wallen.

She is the only artist with three albums that were at number one for at least ten weeks this century. She is the first woman to achieve the feat since Adele’s 2012 album 21.

If TTPD’s success continues, the hitmaker will equal the achievements of albums 1999 and Fearless, which both spent eleven weeks at number one.

After her performance on Sunday, Swift will rest for a few days before taking the stage in Amsterdam on July 4, performing three nights in a row.
