Taylor Swift made a quick getaway from LAX Saturday night after the pop star completed the first phase of her mad dash to reunite with boyfriend Travis Kelce in Super Bowl LVIII.
The singer landed in Los Angeles after an eight-hour flight from Tokyo, arriving to a media and fan frenzy and high police presence at the airport
The global superstar tried to keep a low profile as she stepped off the private jet nicknamed ‘The Football Era’, which was followed by more than 32,000 people, and immediately escaped the airport to head to her home in LA.
A fleet of SUVs was parked next to the hangar of the airport’s private terminal to whisk the 34-year-old away and in new footage she was seen rushing the waiting vehicles, shielded by an umbrella.
The singer seemed to protect herself from the circus of fans and media that had gathered at the airport for her arrival.

There was an unprecedented police presence at the terminal with several police vehicles parked outside as Swift’s motorcade of SUVs escorted her from the airport.
The pop superstar was taken to her home in Los Angeles, where she spent the night. She is expected to complete the remaining 300 miles of her journey to Las Vegas for the big race Sunday morning.
Despite leaving Japan at 9:30pm on Saturday evening, the music megastar arrived in LA earlier than when she left – thanks to the time difference, she landed at 3:35pm on Saturday afternoon.
Swift returned from Japan after a busy week with four sold-out performances at the Tokyo Dome – the last on Saturday night.
The pop billionaire is also fresh from winning a record-breaking fourth ‘album of the year’ Grammy – presented at a glitzy ceremony in LA as Kelce, 34, arrived in Las Vegas ahead of the Super Bowl.
While Swift was in Japan, the muscular 34-year-old trained hard and shrugged off questions about proposing to the singer after the match. He told reporters that he is focused on getting “this ring” (the Super Bowl winner’s ring).
He also joked with brother Jason, 36, on their New Heights podcast about how expensive it is to be in Vegas, saying, “I don’t really do much other than just count how much money I spend on this damn Super Bowl come for family and friends.’

Kelce’s parents have already arrived in Las Vegas and are staying at the glitzy Resort World hotel on the Strip, with Donna, 71, seen there on Thursday morning.
Jason has since checked into the Aria and was photographed playing blackjack in the casino and at a U2 gig at the Sphere. On Friday, he took his wife Kylie, 31, to watch Adele at the Cosmopolitan, where he sang “Eagles!” heard shouting. during a break in the show.

Both the Swift and Kelce families are expected in Vegas on game day, with reports that Kelce has splurged on a $1 million suite.
Kelce was last seen with his megastar girlfriend two weeks ago in Baltimore, where the pair made headlines for a very public display of affection following the Kansas City Chiefs’ win over the Baltimore Ravens.
Swift has attended multiple Chiefs games since going public with Kelce in September and was seen cheering her husband on at the game, with new boyfriend Brittany Mahomes by her side.
Jason was also at the match to cheer him on, along with Kylie and mum Donna and dad Ed, 72.
After the game, Swift boarded a private jet bound for California, while Kelce returned to Missouri with the Chiefs and was photographed last week driving near his 17,000-square-foot mega-mansion.
Despite her wild travel schedule, Swift already has more planned and needs to be in Melbourne on the 16th – leaving her with just five days to celebrate or commiserate with Kelce.

Kelce, who will have time on her hands after football season, was among those in attendance at previous appearances and traveled to Buenos Aires, Argentina, in November to watch her perform during the NFL’s midseason break.
The loved-up couple have become increasingly serious since getting together in August, with Kelce describing their relationship as “something beautiful” during an interview.
Asked about Swift by ESPN’s Pat McAfee, Chief’s No. 87 said the pair had known each other for a month before their first appearance at a game in September.
He said: ‘We had known each other for almost a month up to that point. It didn’t just come out of nowhere: ‘Hey, come to the game.’
Kelce added, “It’s a beautiful thing, isn’t it. And hopefully everyone realizes that we are two people in a relationship who support each other and enjoy it. It’s nothing more than that.
“As much as the world wants to paint the picture and make us the enemy, we’re just having fun with it. And we just enjoy it. We just enjoy every bit of it.
‘Yes, I love it when Taylor comes to support me and enjoy the game with family and friends. It’s been a great year, man.’
Swift was also a hot topic on Kelce’s own New Heights podcast this week, with his brother Jason joking that the singer dropped by at just the right time.
“Shout out to the newest member of the Chiefs Kingdom, Swift, who officially reached the Super Bowl in her rookie year,” the Eagles center joked.
Kelce added with a laugh, “Shout out to Tay. Thanks for joining the team.”
